The 6th Grade Beginning Band is where the musical journey begins! Students have the exciting opportunity to choose an instrument (at the end of their 5th grade year) and learn the fundamentals of playing in 6th grade band. From the very first notes to full ensemble pieces, students build skills in rhythm, tone, and teamwork. With a focus on growth and fun, Beginning Band sets the stage for a lifelong love of music and prepares students for future performance opportunities in the band program.
