Alisha earned her degree in Music Education from Miami University, where her primary instrument was the flute. During her time there, she performed with the Miami University Wind Ensemble and the Miami University Orchestra, and served as Drum Major for the Miami University Marching Band for two years. She completed her student teaching at Lakota West High School, where she taught band and was a member of the marching band staff. Alisha is passionate about being part of a community that values hard work and a shared love of music. She strives to help students develop the skills and confidence to succeed while fostering a lifelong appreciation for music.
