Ms. Kelch's fifth-grade class recently engaged in a meaningful project to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his impact on civil rights. Students worked together to color, cut, and assemble two unique puzzles designed to acknowledge Dr. King's contributions to equality and justice.
In addition to the hands-on activity, the students completed digital lessons that explored Dr. King's life, legacy, and the principles he stood for. These interactive activities not only deepened their understanding of this pivotal leader but also encouraged thoughtful discussions about fairness, respect, and the importance of standing up for what’s right.
Through creativity and critical thinking, Ms. Kelch’s class honored Dr. King's memory while reflecting on the lessons his life continues to teach us today.
