Wildcat Community: There will be a Special Board Meeting held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at 6:00pm in the Williamsburg High School Gymnasium. The purpose of this meeting is to further examine items that were found in the 1923 time capsule. At first glance, we found items with the following names on them: Fuhr, Davidson, DeMougin, Sharp, White, Smith, McNutt, Frazier, Chatterton, Williams, Dailey, Goff, Davis, Holmes, Barry, Deel, and the 1923 Masonic Directory. The public is welcome to attend. In the next week, we will release photos and descriptions of all items that were in the time capsule.

Williamsburg Community Notification – Safety Drill on March 31

Williamsburg Middle High School will be conducting a full safety drill on Tuesday, March 31 at 1:30 PM in partnership with local emergency responders, including the Williamsburg Police Department, Clermont County Sheriff’s Office, and other community safety teams.

This drill will include both our A.L.I.C.E. safety protocol and a student reunification exercise at an off-site location, which will impact traffic patterns in the area.

What the Community Should Know:

Tollgate Road near the school will be converted to one-way traffic during the drill.
Traffic will only be allowed:
Enter from Main Street (near Dollar General/Family Dollar)
Exit right onto Old 32 toward Afton
5th Street will be closed from St. Ann’s Catholic Church to Tollgate Road.
Increased emergency vehicle presence should be expected.
The reunification site will be Clear Mountain Community Church.
Important Reminder:
This is only a drill designed to ensure our students, staff, and local agencies are fully prepared in the event of an emergency. There is no cause for alarm.

We appreciate the community’s patience and cooperation as we conduct this important safety exercise to keep Williamsburg safe and prepared.

Hello Wildcat Family,

We have an update to share on the new elementary school construction project:

-The Williamsburg BOE approved a contract with Monarch Construction Co. at the January 14th, 2026 Business Meeting.

-Williamsburg, along with the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission, signed the Notice To Proceed with the project on January 29th, 2026.

-The Abatement and Demolition of the Old High School will be done by O'Rourke Wrecking Company, and weather permitting, they plan to begin this work the week of February 16-20.

-Therefore, if you wish to walk the exterior property or take any more photos of the old high school exterior, please do so by this Sunday, February 8th, as it will officially be a closed construction site after that.

-Once the building is demolished, there will be an opportunity to get bricks from the old high school. We will be coordinating with Monarch and O'Rourke when and where that will be, and it will be widely communicated at that time.

Old HS Update
Good evening everyone, WLSD will be CLOSED tomorrow, February 3, 2026 due to the forecast of snow. Although the timing and amounts of snow vary by forecast, this decision is to err on the side of caution. This is the fifth calamity day of the 25-26 school year, therefore if we have further days those will come with instructional responsibilities and expectations. Thank you and have a great, safe evening and day tomorrow.

During School Board Appreciation Month, we want to take a moment to thank our Board Members for their tireless commitment to our mission. From committee meetings to strategic planning, these individuals give their time, expertise, and heart to ensure that our schools are thriving. We couldn’t do it without you!

Jeff Cummins will continue to serve the district as the President, and Josh Clifton has been chosen as the Vice President. We welcome our new members, Sam Cribbet, Melanie Shouse, and Brandon Lindsey, who was chosen as the fifth member by the current Board during a Special Meeting last night.

Wildcat Family,

We look forward to hosting everyone at tonight's opening event for the Wildcat Athletic Center (WAC). As this is our first event, I wanted to share some information and expectations with you.

- To access the WAC, please enter the main high school entrance, walk across the auditeria toward the concession stand, and you will then see a set of double doors, which is where you will pay to enter. Ticket prices are $6 for adults, $5 for students. The gate will open at 3:45.

- There is absolutely no parking along the side or rear of the building. Violators will be towed.

- Concessions will be allowed in the stands. Please be considerate and clean up after yourself. There should be absolutely no gum in the WAC.

- There should be no one other than coaches or players on the far side of the court and/or behind the divider curtain.

-The batting cage area and wrestling room are strictly off limits.

- If you are facing the scorers table, the home team will sit on the right side. The visiting team will sit on the left side. Fans should plan to do the same and sit across from their team bench.

See you tonight! Go Wildcats!
