Please be advised that the ceremony will take place within an active construction site.
For safety reasons, only Williamsburg Local School employees, students, and invited community stakeholders are permitted inside the fenced construction zone.
To accommodate our neighbors and the wider community, the streets surrounding the site will be temporarily closed. These areas will likely offer viewing opportunities for those wishing to observe the ceremony from a safe distance.
During our groundbreaking ceremony, we will officially open and reveal the contents of the 1923 Cornerstone Time Capsule from the old school building.
For over 100 years, this capsule has held the stories, memories, and artifacts of our community. On this historic afternoon, we will bridge our past with our future as we see what the Williamsburg community of 1923 left behind for us to find.
