🫧📚 Bubble Fun in Kindergarten!
Mrs. Bach’s class read a book all about bubbles and asked a big question: Can you blow triangle, square, or other shaped bubbles?
After some hands-on experimenting, we discovered that all bubbles are round—no matter the shape of the wand!
Science + curiosity = one exciting day in Kindergarten! 💭🫧

TBT to Field Day in 2017! 🎉☀️ A day full of fun, games, and unforgettable memories!

📊🍦 Real-world learning in action!
Mrs. Stith’s 2nd graders helped run the concession stand at 3rd Grade Market Day yesterday. They practiced giving change, tracking data, and managing products—and had a blast putting their math skills to work! 👏 The boys especially loved the hands-on experience!

During Step Up Day, Mrs. Johnson’s 3rd graders met Ms. Hardyman and had fun learning a new math game together! It was a great way to get excited about what’s coming next year.

✨ Step Up Day Highlights!
Our 5th graders took a big step today as they visited the Middle/High School to get a sneak peek at the school and meet the teachers they’ll be with next year!
They also had the chance to meet Ms. Radar, our Band/Choir Director, and learn about the exciting music opportunities awaiting them.

Today, our STEM Club took an exciting field trip to iSPACE! From hands-on experiments to exploring the wonders of science and technology, our students had a blast diving deeper into STEM learning.

🌟 Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! 🌟
We are beyond thankful for our incredible W.E.S. teachers who pour their hearts into everything they do. Your dedication, passion, and love for learning make a lasting impact on our students every single day. 💙📚🍎

Bus Driver Appreciation Day
In a small school like ours, our bus drivers aren’t just drivers — they’re family. They’re some of the very first friendly faces our students see each morning as they leave the house, and the ones who make sure they get home safe at the end of the day.
Their warm smiles, kind hearts, and steady presence help set the tone for a great day. We are so thankful for everything they do — every early morning, every careful mile, every encouraging word.
Please join us in showing some love to these everyday heroes who help keep our school running strong! 👏💛🚌

Mrs. Waterfield's second grade class just welcomed 16 fluffy baby chicks into the world! They hatched today and are too cute! 🐥 💙

Mrs. Troxell's kindergarten class had some special guests hatch just before spring break! These adorable chicks made a grand entrance, and we just couldn’t wait to share these photos. 🐥💛

Congratulations to our Attendance Students of the Week! 🐾

Williamsburg Elementary knocked it out of the park for Reopening Day! ⚾️🥎
Students showed their team spirit by rocking Cincinnati Reds gear and representing their favorite baseball and softball teams. Many young athletes proudly wore their own jerseys and uniforms, and of course, everyone enjoyed the chance to wear a ball cap!
To top it all off, every W.E.S. student got a special treat from the Kona Ice truck—because what’s a trip to the ballpark without a little something sweet?
It was a home run of a day, and we’re so glad our students were part of it!

We celebrated our amazing paraprofessionals this week! Their hard work, patience, and dedication help create a supportive learning environment for our students every single day. Whether assisting in classrooms, providing one-on-one support, or helping with daily tasks, they play a vital role in our school community.
In a small but mighty district like ours, the impact of our paraprofessionals is truly immeasurable. We are beyond grateful for their commitment to our students and staff. Thank you for all that you do! #ParaprofessionalAppreciation
