Our district is proud to be part of the Greater Cincinnati Business Advisory Council, which earned a 3-Star Distinction this past year for its commitment to supporting student career readiness and workforce development.
Through this partnership, students across the district have gained valuable real-world learning experiences that connect classroom instruction to future career opportunities. During the school year, the collaboration provided 21 pre-apprenticeship opportunities, eight unique internships, more than 45 job-shadowing experiences, and over 25 career speakers.
Students also participated in two district-wide career days and more than 40 career-focused field trips designed to expose them to a variety of industries and professions. In addition, students earned 88 industry credentials, helping prepare them for success after graduation.
District leaders are thankful for the support of local business partners, teachers, and staff members who continue to make these opportunities possible for students.
