We’re so proud of our sixth grade girls and boys who had the opportunity to visit Grant Career Center! Students explored hands-on programs, learned about exciting career pathways, and saw how today’s interests can turn into tomorrow’s opportunities. Experiences like this help spark curiosity, build goals, and inspire big dreams for the future.
Honors English 10 students completed their museum projects. Students collaborated in groups to plan a mini-museum exhibit that connected the themes, events, and characters in The Crucible to various events or individuals in the real world. Students explored historical events as well as past and current trends of science, technology, and culture. Classes celebrated the conclusion of the project as they explored displayed artifacts that visually represented each connection.

Semester Projects Complete! Our high school gifted students wrapped up their semester projects by building the classic game Operation-from scratch! From wiring to coding, students engineered every part of the game. Incredible creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork on display!

CCP Physics is creating their own investigation on angular collisions. Students must calculate the conservation of momentum, impulse and kinetic energy of the objects. They are running simulations similar to what you would do at the scene of a traffic accident. Next week they have an officer coming from the Clermont County Investigation department to talk with them about the data they collect and what goes in to a criminal or traffic accident investigation.
