CCP Physics students designed Egg Drop “Drone Delivery” devices using specific materials to withstand a 4-meter fall. Their challenge was to create contraptions that were accurate, slow, and durable. After testing, they calculated the force of air resistance using data on time, distance, and acceleration.

CCP Chemistry students conducted flame tests to explore the relationship between energy, frequency, and wavelength. The different flame colors result from the movement of electrons as elements become excited in the burner flame.

Mrs. Nickolette’s 4th Bell Creative Writing class is preparing mini-sagas for a November Writing Contest. Students are challenged to cut their stories down to under 100 words, focusing on precise word choice and selecting language that delivers the strongest impact.

CCP Biology and CCP Environmental students took a field trip to Sycamore Park today. While they were there, they studied stream ecology and conducted several tests to determine the health of the East Fork Little Miami River.
