Williamsburg Middle High School will be conducting a full safety drill on Tuesday, March 31 at 1:30 PM in partnership with local emergency responders, including the Williamsburg Police Department, Clermont County Sheriff’s Office, and other community safety teams.
This drill will include both our A.L.I.C.E. safety protocol and a student reunification exercise at an off-site location, which will impact traffic patterns in the area.
What the Community Should Know:
Tollgate Road near the school will be converted to one-way traffic during the drill.
Traffic will only be allowed:
Enter from Main Street (near Dollar General/Family Dollar)
Exit right onto Old 32 toward Afton
5th Street will be closed from St. Ann’s Catholic Church to Tollgate Road.
Increased emergency vehicle presence should be expected.
The reunification site will be Clear Mountain Community Church.
Important Reminder:
This is only a drill designed to ensure our students, staff, and local agencies are fully prepared in the event of an emergency. There is no cause for alarm.
We appreciate the community’s patience and cooperation as we conduct this important safety exercise to keep Williamsburg safe and prepared.

Old High School Gym Floor Pre Order

Hello Wildcat Family,
We have an update to share on the new elementary school construction project:
-The Williamsburg BOE approved a contract with Monarch Construction Co. at the January 14th, 2026 Business Meeting.
-Williamsburg, along with the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission, signed the Notice To Proceed with the project on January 29th, 2026.
-The Abatement and Demolition of the Old High School will be done by O'Rourke Wrecking Company, and weather permitting, they plan to begin this work the week of February 16-20.
-Therefore, if you wish to walk the exterior property or take any more photos of the old high school exterior, please do so by this Sunday, February 8th, as it will officially be a closed construction site after that.
-Once the building is demolished, there will be an opportunity to get bricks from the old high school. We will be coordinating with Monarch and O'Rourke when and where that will be, and it will be widely communicated at that time.

Jeff Cummins will continue to serve the district as the President, and Josh Clifton has been chosen as the Vice President. We welcome our new members, Sam Cribbet, Melanie Shouse, and Brandon Lindsey, who was chosen as the fifth member by the current Board during a Special Meeting last night.
We look forward to another year of growth under the leadership of our Board of Education!

The inductees will be honored during a formal ceremony on February 6, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the Williamsburg High School Auditeria.
The Academic Hall of Fame Class of 2026 includes:
Mr. Kevin R. Abrams, Class of 1974
Mr. Marlyon E. “Abe” Abrams
Dr. Kaetha Leigh Frost, Class of 2009

We invite our alumni and community to join us in congratulating these outstanding individuals and their lasting impact on Williamsburg Local Schools.
