Anna Maham is heading to New York City this upcoming break to march in the 99th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade! She will have the opportunity to march with high school students from all around the country. Anna is currently the drum major of the Williamsburg Marching Band as well as the principal flute in symphonic band. She is very excited to represent the Williamsburg music department during this once in a lifetime opportunity and is grateful for all of the support she has received from the community.

Chemistry made homemade candles in the process of learning about the properties of wax in relation to organic chemistry. They used essential oils and were able to learn the differences between synthetic and natural scents.
