Good evening everyone, WLSD will be CLOSED tomorrow, February 3, 2026 due to the forecast of snow. Although the timing and amounts of snow vary by forecast, this decision is to err on the side of caution. This is the fifth calamity day of the 25-26 school year, therefore if we have further days those will come with instructional responsibilities and expectations. Character Students of the Week!

Physical Science students are having a blast exploring a series of chemical reaction experiments! 🧪🌋

Today’s synthesis reaction had them creating foam volcanoes, and the final results will become trophies for the next test.

Middle school gifted students are making creative progress on their competition projects. Their team collaboration is what makes this a success.

CCP bio students were able to beat the snow this past week and tap a few of the trees on campus. Stay tuned for syrup and a pancake party.

CCP Physics just wrapped up our most successful set of boomerangs yet! 🪃⚙️
Students experimented with design adjustments and fine-tuning—and their final boomerangs actually worked better than store-bought ones. A fun (and slightly twisted 😉) way to put a new spin on rotation!

Mrs. Cleaver has had the privilege to watch these incredible young people work with passion and heart to bring Little Women to the stage. Their commitment to their characters—and to one another—has been inspiring to see.

When the performance is experienced, the care, energy, and dedication poured into every detail will be felt. Something truly special is coming. 🌟🎭

CCP Physics headed to Batavia Bowl this week to study all things rotational motion 🎳⚙️
Students tackled 20+ calculations covering both linear and rotational motion, leading to great results and even better discussions. Lots of learning, lots of fun, and awesome work all around! 👏

Hello Wildcats! The Sweethearts Dance for Williamsburg High School students is scheduled for January 31 at 7:00pm. If you plan on purchasing a ticket, please do so before the end of lunch on Friday, January 23. Based on the number of ticket sales, we will determine whether or not to cancel the event. If the event is canceled, those who have purchased tickets will have their money refunded.

Congratulations to these students for maintaining perfect attendance to this point in the school year. They were randomly selected from the list of eligible students. 👏

🎨 Art 1 students are exploring Fauvism through vibrant oil pastel animal portraits. They’ve also begun the Pen Project, where each student is given one brand-new Bic pen and challenged to use all of the ink by the end of the quarter.
