🔍🧸 Toy Safety Detectives in ELA!
Mrs. Cleaver's ELA students are currently acting as safety researchers, investigating the design and features of popular toys. This hands-on project requires them to gather background information and data to determine the critical safety features that protect consumers.
The goal of this research is to prepare students to write an argumentative essay that will address toy safety standards and design.
Ask your 6th grader about the toys they are analyzing and what safety hazards they are looking out for!
