Every student and their family must attend an informational College Credit Plus (CCP) session each school year in order to begin or continue participation in the program.

Eighth graders built and tested their own electromagnets by wrapping wire around iron nails and using batteries to create a magnetic field strong enough to lift paper clips, exploring how electric current can produce magnetism.

Students in the CCP Introduction to Education course recently visited the elementary school to complete their observation hours. After their classroom visits, the group gathered for lunch to reflect on their experiences—sharing what they learned and how these observations will help shape their future career goals in education. Students in Mrs. Vuyancih’s English class were analyzing claims found in their article of the week about teen trick or treating. After reading, students worked in partners to read through the claims and determine which claims were the strongest.
