Hello Wildcat Families!
Below you will find the next editions of the W.E.S. Wire and The Heartbeat of the Wildcat.
The WHS Gymnasium has been recently remodeled and will be hosting the first Volleyball game tonight on the new court vs. Georgetown! Come out and see the gymansium for yourself and cheer on the Lady Wildcats. Thanks again to The Abrams Family Foundation for their generosity in this project, supporting our student athletes!

The Heartbeat of the Wildcat

A 5-star rating is the highest possible mark a district can receive, signifying that Williamsburg significantly exceeds state standards. We're so proud of our students, staff, families, and community members whose hard work and dedication made this possible. Stay tuned as we share more details about this landmark success in the coming weeks. It’s always a great day to be a Wildcat!

Hello Wildcat Families,
In an effort to make staying connected easier and more predictable for every family in our district, we're aligning the release of the Elementary and Middle/High school newsletters.
Beginning today, both the Elementary and Middle/High will publish and send their newsletters together on a synchronized schedule. We are making this change so that you will know exactly when to expect school updates, making it easier to plan and stay informed. If you have children in both schools, you will no longer have to track down updates sent on different days or through competing channels. Both newsletters will be delivered to your inbox every other Tuesday.
While the publishing rhythm is shared, each newsletter will continue to highlight the specific events, academic updates, and celebrations unique to each of our schools. Both newsletters are linked below.
We appreciate your continued partnership!

Hello Wildcat families! Final Forms for the 2026-2027 school year are now LIVE! Please go in as soon as possible and complete those forms! It is especially important that you fill out the Transportation Information form so that we can place children on buses for the school year. This form should be completed no later than July 15 in order to ensure placement on a bus route. If you purchased the Chromebook Protection Plan in 2025-26 and qualify for a discount in 2026-27, you should have received an email from Mrs. Attinger with further instructions. If you did not receive one and feel that you qualify, please send her an email. If your child is participating in athletics in Middle School or High School, you will have several forms to fill out for that as well. If you have any questions, please reach out to Mrs. Attinger at attinger_a@burgschools.org.
Thank you, and have a great week!
